Call For Papers - Forum on Migration, Trade & the Global Economy

The Forum on Migration, Trade & the Global Economy offers an innovative platform to stimulate a greater understanding of the intersection between migration and international trade. It will be an academic, high-profile and inclusive opportunity to facilitate constructive dialogue based on the identification of the latest research across disciplines, exploration of institutional experiences and networking among various epistemic and policy communities. Through this call for papers, we invite original research papers as inputs for the discussion at the forum. The research papers will serve to stimulate a greater understanding of the complex linkages between migration, international trade and the global economy. The research papers must attempt to address the topic of migration from a trade perspective with the aim to increase an understanding of the key issues and challenges and to provide input to envisage solutions. The papers may be theoretical or empirical but they must be conceptually innovative and relevant from a policy standpoint. Papers that bring an interdisciplinary perspective are encouraged.
